On Sep 21, 2024, our school community came together for an unforgettable Sports Day, where students, teachers, and parents united in the spirit of friendly competition, teamwork, and celebration of athleticism. The event, which took place on our school’s sports field, featured a range of exciting activities designed to showcase the talents and determination of our students across various age groups.
Opening Ceremony:
The day began with an inspiring opening ceremony, where the sound of cheering students and the colorful display of house banners set the tone for the day’s festivities.
The Chief guest for the day, Mr. Dennis Richardson, Principal Analyst, Oracle India, preceded over the inauguration and gave an uplifting speech about the importance of sportsmanship, perseverance, and the value of participating in physical activities. With the official torch lighting, the games were officially underway!
Track and Field Events:
The day was packed with a range of track and field events. Students participated in 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 400×100m relay races. were equally competitive, with students demonstrating their skills and training.
Team Sports:
Team events such as football and volleyball for boys , throw ball and Kho -Kho for girls were thrilling to watch. The students worked together, showing not only their physical abilities but also teamwork, strategy, and leadership.
Cultural activities :
The cultural activities during the sports were a great success, with students actively participating and learning about different cultures. Zumba dance, Baduga traditional dance ,pyramid ,fancy dress These events not only nurtured their talents but also instilled a sense of unity and appreciation for diverse traditions. We look forward to continuing this journey of cultural enrichment in the years to come.
